Numeros Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its lineup with the launch of its second electric two-wheeler called the Numeros n-First. The EV has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 buyers. The model is already available for booking for prospective consumers. The new model has been created in collaboration with Italian design house Wheelable, and here are more details.
The Numeros n-First electric scooter comes with a unique design with a small apron housing a round headlamp. The front of the scooter offers sporty appeal with sharp creases around the body and the head unit. Moving toward the rear end, it gets a rather simple design with starting lines and two two-piece seats. To go with the design, the brand offers 16-inch wheels with the scooter, which is uncommon within this segment. All of it will be available in two color options: Traffic Red and Pure White.
The Numeros n-First comes in five variants and three trim levels: n-First max, n-First i-max, and n-First max+. The highest variant, 3kWh i-Max+, provides an IDC range of 109 km, while the 2.5kWh variants (Max and i-Max) are equipped with liquid immersion-cooled Li-ion batteries, offering an IDC range of up to 91 km.
At its core, the Numeros n-First is driven by a 1.8 kW PMSM mid-drive motor with chain transmission, enabling smooth acceleration and impressive energy efficiency. Charging from 0-100% takes roughly 5-6 hours for the 2.5 kWh model and 7-8 hours for the 3.0 kWh version, with over-the-air (OTA) updates available for ongoing performance enhancement. It currently has a top speed of 70 kmph.
The suspension setup consists of a telescopic front suspension and adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear end with hydraulic dampers. Braking is taken care of by drum brakes at both ends. The scooter has a length of 1979 mm, a width of 686 mm, and a height of 1125 mm. It has a wheelbase of 1341 mm and a ground clearance of 159 mm.

Numeros n-First: Battery and range
The n-First can be had with 2 battery pack options to drive the 48V motor. The 2.5 kWh unit on the base and mid-spec variants enables an IDC-certified single-charge range of 91 km. With this, the scooter can make 1.8 kW of max power and 34 Nm of torque, topping out at 55 kmph. This battery can be fully charged from zero within 5-6 hours.
The 3 kWh battery pack on the n-First i-max+ makes for a 109 km single-charge range (IDC), upping max power to 2.5 kW and max speed to 70 kmph. However, this unit will need 7-8 hours of charging time to go from 0% to 100%.
The n-First comes riding on 16-inch wheels for enhanced stability compared to scooters with smaller wheels. These are fitted with drum brakes on both ends, supported by a Combi-Braking System (CBS), and the e-scooter comes with a 159 mm ground clearance.
On the feature front, the scooter comes with 3 riding modes on its top variant, including Eco, Normal, and Sport, and offers a Reverse assist mode for ease of maneuverability in tight spaces. Numeros has further added a comprehensive IoT connectivity suite enabling remote locking, geo-fencing, theft and tow alerts, and ride data tracking. The software is kept up-to-date via OTA updates.
