Royal Enfield reported its highest-ever monthly sales in September 2025, with total dispatches reaching 1,24,328 units. This marks a 43 percent increase compared to the same month last year, when the company sold 86,978 motorcycles. The growth comes in the backdrop of the GST 2.0 implementation, which brought down prices of motorcycles under the 350cc category, a segment where Royal Enfield has a strong presence.

The reduction in tax rates appears to have boosted demand, particularly in the domestic market during the festive season. Domestic sales stood at 1,13,573 units in September 2025, up 43 percent from 79,325 units in the corresponding month last year. Exports also recorded strong momentum, with 10,755 units shipped compared to 7,653 units in September 2024, registering a growth of 41 percent.

For the April–September 2025 period, Royal Enfield’s year-to-date performance also showed robust gains. Total sales during the first six months of the financial year reached 5,91,903 units, up 30 percent compared to 4,54,780 units in the same period of FY2024–25.

Within this, domestic sales contributed 5,21,482 units, an increase of 27 percent over 4,10,843 units last year. Exports accounted for 70,421 units during the period, significantly higher than the 43,937 units shipped in the first half of the previous year, representing a 60 percent growth.

The company’s sustained momentum in both domestic and international markets reflects strong demand for its 350cc portfolio, including models like the Classic 350, Bullet 350, and Hunter 350, which form the bulk of its sales. The pricing advantage following the GST revision has added to the appeal of these motorcycles, especially in the commuter and mid-segment categories.

September’s numbers also highlight the impact of the ongoing festive season, which traditionally brings higher sales volumes for two-wheeler manufacturers. With the new tax structure making sub-350cc motorcycles more affordable, Royal Enfield appears to have benefited directly, consolidating its position in a competitive market.
